Kate and Alison started Newburyport Trading Company in order to create memorable souvenirs from their hometown. A small coastal city, Newburyport is a popularly-travelled weekend destination for beachgoers, birdwatchers, boaters, and foodies. 

Alison is the founder and owner of Skybridge Studio, a graphic & web design, writing & editing, and marketing company in Newburyport, MA.

Kate runs the tissue and bone bank at MGH hospital in Boston, MA.
